I had some $$$ left over from the trip, and it was definitely burning a hole in my pocket. Plus I had a gift card to urban outfitters, and I had to get rid of that.. (that was just my excuse to go into the store) Not to mention, I was feeling a bit down after watching Blue Valentine, and definitely needed some shopping therapy.. So anyways, here's what I went home with:

I also stopped into Forever 21, and got this sheer, thin cardigan for $6.50. SUCH a steal. It looks way better on/in person, and I feel like it's a wonderful new staple to my wardrobe.

I'm sure everyone has seen the video of Miley smoking salvia, but I thought I'd put my 2 cents in. I'm so glad this footage was leaked, it shows that even disney starlets like to live it up a little. Theres nothing wrong with a teenager dabbling in psychedelics, it's pretty normal behavior if you ask me. Just the sight of Miley hitting a bong made me love her 500x more. She's successful and deserves to enjoy her free time doing whatever she pleases~

I found Selena's version, then stumbled across one Katy did. Which one do you like best? I think they're both great, but I feel like the lyrics are a bit more Katy than Selena. The song is perfect for her actually, I wonder why she didn't keep it for herself.. Regardless, the song is catchy as fuck & both girls do it great!

I had this pullover sweater hanging in my closet that I got at a thrift store for $2 a long time ago and wanted to do something to it. All I really needed was the studs.. They're 1/2 inch english cone studs, you can find them and lots of other studs on ebay..











I think I'm gonna add some more rips & tears to it, I like them to look natural..

Life is at a high point and it's only going higher.

 

 

 

Right now im just relaxing and watching some tv before i have to get things organized for tomorrow. its the last day of the fall quarter at school and im so excited. ive done really well this quarter. ive had a few finals this week, and had to finish up a shirt ive been working on for the past couple of weeks. i know break doesnt start til next week, but i sort of started early.. haha. i spent monday with a special someone, and tuesday was my friend Stephanie's welcome back party and our friend michelle's apartment. she just got back from a 3 month long study abroad program in italy. i missed her so much and im so glad she's back. today i went christmas shopping with my friend angie. i still have to get a ton of things for people! im so bad at shopping for other people. 

 


 

im so excited for break! ive got a ton of things planned. next monday im seeing lady gaga at the nokia center.. im so excited, i missed her last time she played in hollywood. she's so inspirational, everything she does is different and risky. i love her. not to mention, her song Alejandro is becoming one of my favorites. hahah, i love the new album altogether. she has such diversity in her music. i was suprised to hear her collab. with beyonce.. but i have to admit i liked it. i got the january issue of elle this week, and she's on the cover. i love the spread too. she's a genius.

im learning new things every day. my mind is growing and i'm loving every second of it. i try to look at going to school in a positive way, even though it's so time consuming. i think its a lucky thing for me to be at the point that i am now, and im trying to appreciate it all. and i really do. the days have gone by so fast because ive been happy doing the things i do. its such a rush just to think about time, and how you spend it. its all about making stories. making memories. they'll always stay with me. i honestly wouldnt have my life any other way right now.

 

this weekend was an adventure. spontaneity at its finest. me and my friend andrea decided we'd take a drive out to anaheim for a show at the House of blues. we stayed for sing it loud & the rocket summer, and then took off to meet a friend from arizona at his hotel in downtown la. after that, we met up with my cousin & my friend marina at her friends apartment in hollywood. it was so cute, i loved all their furniture. they had this wall filled with polaroids that they take of everyone who comes over. i really liked it. i think my favorite part of the apartment was the balcony. the view was really nice. me, andrea, and jessie all planned that we want to move out there in a few years. i think we can do it.

 

 

today me and andrea did some christmas shopping. i only got gifts for two people, and i have a not more to go. im excited for christmas this year, even though all my friends are going different places. ill try and make the best of it.

I've just been so happy lately, positive energy is surrounding me all the time and i love it. School is going great, its already week 5 out of 11. It's gone by so fast. Its starting to get kinda chilly again, i love it. I want another rainy day, it'd make everything even better than it already is. I loved the rainy days we had a few weeks ago.. i finally got to bring out the faux fur collars and scarves! haha. i hope i get to bring em back soon. the past few weekends have been spent with my best friends just shopping and hanging out. My friends and i always take tons of pictures when we're together.. i love to document everything we do. i love pictures, they preserve memories.
